Our Formulation Philosophy

Nyum was founded on a simple premise: the supplement industry has a transparency problem. Proprietary blends, underdosed actives, and marketing claims disconnected from clinical evidence are the norm — not the exception.

Our approach is different. Every ingredient in every Nyum product is selected based on peer-reviewed research, dosed at clinically relevant levels, and verified by independent third-party laboratories. We publish our certificates of analysis, name our extract suppliers, and cite the studies that inform our formulations.

The content in the Nyum Library is written and reviewed by our research team to reflect the current state of published science — not marketing copy. Where the evidence is strong, we say so. Where it is preliminary, we say that too.

Testing & Verification Protocols

  • Identity testing: Every raw ingredient is tested to confirm species identity and extract authenticity before entering production.
  • HPLC potency verification: Active compound concentrations are verified by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography to confirm labeled potency.
  • Heavy metal screening: All products are tested for lead, mercury, arsenic, and cadmium against California Prop 65 limits.
  • Microbial testing: Finished products are tested for total plate count, yeast, mold, E. coli, Salmonella, and Staph aureus.
  • Third-party COA publication: Certificates of analysis from independent laboratories are available upon request for all current products.
  • GMP-certified manufacturing: All Nyum products are manufactured in FDA-registered, GMP-certified facilities.
